We are looking for a Software Team Leader who can adapt to our young, energetic team & dynamic working atmosphere.
 
The Role:
 
Team Leader is responsible for projects which are assigned to him, ensures that projects are delivered on time within planned resources. He organizes the team, makes them understand the goal and objectives and makes sure that they are attained. He is responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software development activities throughout the project, including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the system.
 
Knowledge:
  • Project management methods
  • Excellent skills in ASP.NET/C#/Java programming including MSSQL Server knowledge
  • Knowledge of latest web technologies is required
  • Experience in business analysis

Experience:

  • Min. 5 years’ experience in software development and architectural design
  • Minimum 1 year team management experience in software development

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering or in a related fields (minimum)

Job Description:

  • Manage and lead the team
  • Prepare initial project plan
  • Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements, cost and schedule
  • Manage project scope and change control and to escalate the issues where necessary
  • Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule
  • Preparing and providing necessary reports to management
  • Develops and maintains in-depth understanding of client’s existing business processes and applications
  • Reviews and contributes to the definition of functional requirements (if necessary, makes analysis of user requirements)
  • Identifies technical options for providing operational/production support or resolving applications or system problems
  • Reviews system performance and recommends approaches improving overall performance
  • Participate in detailed project planning and design reviews
  • Translates functional requirements into technical requirements
  • Reviews and analyzes software metrics such as complexity and performance
  • Stays current with technology industry trends
  • Actively participates in information sharing activities
  • Identifies and disseminates “best practice” in development and maintenance of applications and systems
  • Ensures software fits within architectural framework and adheres to technology standards
